Jeon Somi and Chungha, two former members of the popular girl group I.O.I, recently gave fans a heartwarming glimpse into their enduring friendship in the latest episode of Somi’s vlog series, SOM-THING.
The episode, which marked Somi’s seventh installment, not only captured the camaraderie between the two soloists but also shed light on the strong bond that still exists among the members of I.O.I.
A Reunion of Friendship
In the episode, Jeon Somi welcomed Chungha to her home, where the two spent quality time catching up and reminiscing about their I.O.I days.
Later in the day, Weki Meki’s Yoojung, another former I.O.I member, joined the gathering, making it a mini-reunion of sorts.
The day began with the two soloists discussing their recent activities, including Somi’s promotions for “Fast Forward” and “Gold Gold Gold.” As they laughed and chatted, it became evident that their friendship had not only endured but had grown stronger over the years.
The heartwarming reunion took a humorous turn when the topic of their previous gathering was brought up. The former I.O.I members had all come together for a housewarming party at Somi’s home earlier in the year, and remnants of that memorable day were still scattered around.
Somi, with a playful smile, pointed out a hat hanging on a Tweety Bird Bearbrick and revealed it belonged to Kim Sejeong, another I.O.I alum, who had inadvertently left it there during the housewarming event.

Chungha, reminiscing about her own recent gathering with I.O.I members, shared a funny anecdote. She disclosed that her closet was now brimming with items left by her fellow group members during a reunion to celebrate their fifth anniversary in 2021.
Their playfulness extended to the end of the vlog, where both artists made an “urgent” request to any I.O.I members watching the episode – a call for them to retrieve their belongings.
Fortunately, Chungha, showing the depth of their bond, revealed that she was scheduled to meet with Kim Sejeong the next day and took the hat home to return it to its rightful owner.
The heartwarming episode was a testament to the enduring friendships formed during the I.O.I days, delighting fans around the world. It’s clear that the strong bond among these former members is still very much intact, bringing smiles and nostalgia to their fans’ faces.
