Hook Entertainment Embroiled Slapped With Embezzlement Accusations
In an exclusive report cited by SBS on November 15, all eyes are on the internet as to why Hook Entertainment, Park Min Young and Lee Seung Gi’s agency, is being investigated by the police.
On November 10, the Severe Crime Investigation Division of the National Police Agency conducted a search and seizure of the company office building in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, for five hours. Since then, the public’s attention was focused on the background of the investigation.
According to insiders, the police search was done due to the report that the company’s CEO and some executives are involved in an embezzlement issue.
As the authority continued to investigate, it has been said that the police are also reviewing the application of the Special Economic Crimes Aggravated Punishment Act if the value of embezzlement by Hook Entertainment’s executives exceeds more than 5 billion won.
